Abu Dhabi (Gulf Inside) The amendment to visa decisions has been explained by the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA).
On July 12 Brigadier Khamis Al Kaabi the official spokes person for the federal authority for identity and citizenship (ICA) provided details on the cancellation of previously announced visa related decision.

UAE Residence visa expired after 1st march 2020
Earlier they were valid till December 31, 2020.
Now residency visa holders have three months grace period starting from 12th July 2020 to renew there residence visa or leave the country. Otherwise overstay fines will be imposed by the end of the grace period.
The ICA has announced a schedule for visa and emirates ID renewal applications as follow.
- The person whose Residence visa and emirates IDs expired from 1st March to end of April can apply for renewal from 12 July 2020.
- The Person whose Residence visa and emirates IDs expired from 1st May to 31 May can apply for renewal from 11 August 2020.
- The Person whose Residence visa and emirates IDs expired from 1st June to 11 July can apply for renewal from 10 September 2020.
- The Person whose Residence visa and emirates IDs expired after 11 July not restricted to certain date.

Residents outside UAE
UAE Residents who stuck out of UAE they will have 1 month, from the date the will re-enter in UAE to renew their residence permits and emirates IDs.
Visit/Tourist visa holders
Visitors and tourists in the UAE whose visa expired after 1st march 2020 will have 1 month to exit the country without paying any fine or change the status the grace period started from 12 July 2020.
New Tourist visa Fees
For 30 days Tourist visa fees : 1700/ Dirhams
For 90 Days Tourist visa fees : 2200/ Dirhams
