Abu Dhabi (Gulf Inside) The Cabinet of UAE approved a decision to extend the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday by one week on Thursday, which will start on Saturday, April 30 and end on Friday, May 6.
The decision covers all ministries and federal agencies in the UAE. Work will resume on Monday, May 9.
This means that employees of all ministries and federal agencies will enjoy a long 9-day vacation.

According to the cabinet decision, the Sharjah Human Resource Department has amended its Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from April 30 to May 8. Work will resume on May 9.
