    Abu Dhabi (Gulf Inside) Residents returning to the UAE will have to comply with the terms and conditions for quarantine, otherwise they will have to pay a fine of 50,000 dirhams.

The NCMA department clarified that passengers coming to the Abu Dhabi must download the Al Hosan app while those heading to Dubai should have the Covid-19 DXB Smart App on their smartphones.     For residents of the UAE returning from a country where the risk of corona is not high, the duration of quarantine is 7 days, while for those coming from high risk countries, the duration of quarantine is 14 days. Passengers will have to complete 14 days at home or at the government quarantine center. However, the costs incurred during the quarantine will be borne by the passenger.

    Failure to comply with quarantine instructions at home will result in a fine of 50,000 dirhams, according to Resolution 38, passed to curb the spread of the corona virus.
