Abu Dhabi (Gulf Inside) UAE Eid Al Fitr Holidays: The Ministry of Human Resources UAE has announced that on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, from 29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal 1443, there will be a pay holiday for all private sector workers.
This is stated in a circular issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and the UAE in connection with the implementation of the decision of the Federal Cabinet on the calendar of public holidays.
How Many Days Holiday Employees Can Enjoy?
If the month of Ramadan completes 30 days, then Eid will be on Monday, May 2 (Shawwal 1). Employees in the UAE will, in this case, enjoy a five-day weekend, including Saturday (April 30), Sunday (May 1), Monday (May 2), Tuesday (May 3) and Wednesday (May 4).
However, if there are only 29 days in Ramadan (based on the sighting of the moon), Eid al-Fitr will be on Sunday, May 1 (Shawwal 1), and then residents can enjoy a 4 day long weekend. Which will begin on Saturday, April 30. Tuesday, May 3.

According to the Gregorian calendar, the correct dates can only be confirmed about UAE Eid Al Fitr Holidays after the appearance of the moon.
