Dubai: Visitors heading to Global Village during its 31st season can use four dedicated Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) bus routes, connect from the Dubai Metro, or travel by taxi and private car. Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026 and is scheduled to run until May 2027.
This transport-focused guide explains where to board buses 102, 103, 104 and 106, how frequently they operate, which Metro stations provide useful connections, and what to know about tickets and opening hours. Global Village Dubai bus routes for Season 31
In an announcement dated 12 October 2026, RTA confirmed four seasonal services connecting major Dubai transport hubs with Global Village:
| Route | Departure point | Published service interval |
|---|---|---|
| 102 | Al Rashidiya / Centrepoint area | 60 minutes |
| 103 | Union Bus Station | 40 minutes |
| 104 | Al Ghubaiba Bus Station | 60 minutes |
| 106 | Mall of the Emirates Bus Station | 60 minutes |
These are scheduled intervals, not journey durations. RTA’s announcement refers to Al Rashidiya for route 102; passengers may also encounter the name Centrepoint in Metro journey planning. Verify the exact boarding stop and live departures before travelling. Source: RTA Season 31 transport announcement.
How to reach Global Village by Metro and bus
There is no Dubai Metro station at Global Village itself. Visitors can take the Metro to a convenient interchange and complete the trip by seasonal bus.
From Centrepoint: bus 102
Passengers travelling along the Red Line towards its eastern end can use the Centrepoint/Al Rashidiya interchange area and check RTA’s current boarding instructions for route 102.
From Union: bus 103
Union is an interchange between the Red and Green Metro lines. Bus 103 links Union Bus Station with Global Village and has the shortest published interval of the four routes, at 40 minutes.
From Al Ghubaiba: bus 104
Passengers using the Green Line can connect at Al Ghubaiba to route 104, subject to the current stop location and schedule.
From Mall of the Emirates: bus 106
Visitors travelling on the Red Line from areas such as Dubai Marina or central Dubai may find Mall of the Emirates a convenient interchange for route 106.
Check departure and last-return times through RTA’s official channels. A published frequency does not establish the first or last departure, and late-night visitors should not assume buses run until the park closes.
Global Village Season 31 tickets and admission prices
The official Season 31 ticketing page lists a AED 25 weekday ticket, valid Monday to Thursday excluding public holidays, and a AED 30 any-day ticket. Park entry does not automatically include separately priced rides and attractions. Prices and eligibility may change, so confirm before purchase on the official Global Village ticketing page.
Global Village’s terms also list free entry for children under three, visitors over 65, and eligible People of Determination with one companion. Check identification and admission conditions before visiting.
Global Village Season 31 opening hours
Global Village’s current visitor page lists 4pm to midnight Sunday to Wednesday, and 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays. Tuesdays, except public holidays, are reserved for families, couples and women. The season is expected to continue until May 2027, with no exact final date confirmed on the cited visitor page. Check the official opening-hours page for exceptions and special events.
Taxi, private car and parking options
Taxis and app-based ride services offer door-to-door alternatives, especially for families and visitors who may miss the final bus. Private cars can be convenient, but road congestion and parking demand may increase on weekends and holidays. Check current parking instructions and pick-up points with Global Village before setting out.
Electric abra rides inside Global Village
RTA has also resumed two electric tourist abras for sightseeing on waterways inside Global Village. These are leisure rides, not a water-transport connection from Dubai’s Metro stations or other parts of the city.
What is new in Season 31?
