KUWAIT CITY, October 19, 2026: Passengers planning connections through Kuwait International Airport should confirm their current transit eligibility with their airline and Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
On October 2, the aviation authority was reported as saying transit restrictions would remain in place until further notice. That earlier notice does not independently establish which restrictions remain in effect on October 19.
What passengers should verify
Before departure, passengers should check the status of their flights, the rules applying to their itinerary, documentation requirements and any airline rebooking options. Requirements may differ by route and nationality.
Why current confirmation matters
Airport procedures and schedules can change, particularly during regional security disruptions. This article does not assert that all previously announced restrictions are still in force.
