To learn how to renew Philippine passport in UAE, you first need to know things you should have to get the process started. Following are the requirements for Philippine passport renewal in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- A print of the confirmation letter/email of online appointment along with QR code
- A photocopy of the original passport data page (two copies if you are applying in Dubai and one copy if you are applying in Abu Dhabi)
- A photocopy of the original visa page
- An original Philippine passport
- A print of the passport application form
- AED 240 as a fee for the Philippine passport renewal

Following is the step-by-step answer to how to renew Philippine passport in UAE.
1.Book An Appointment
The first thing you need to do is book your online appointment. For it, you will have to visit the official website of any of the above-mentioned four places. Create your account and then fill the form to request Philippine passport renewal in Dubai. If all of your family members need to renew their passports, then you will have to submit a separate form for each member.
If you want to renew via PaRC Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you can send them an email to info.philippinespptdxb@vfsglobal.com. You will receive an appointment confirmation email after it has been confirmed.
2.The Appearance Of The Applicant
Next, you will have to visit the chosen Philippine passport renewal place on the date of appointment. Try to reach your destination 10 to 20 minutes earlier to avoid trouble. Take a copy of the appointment confirmation email with you to show it to staff attendants.
Go to the passport processing unit if you are visiting the Consulate in Dubai. Get your queue number if you are visiting PaRC or Philippine Embassy. After this, move to the processing area.

3.Hand Over The Documents
When visiting the Consulate: Put your original passport inside the box that has a label of your appointment time. Soon, a processor will call your name. Go to him and submit your documents. He will go through your documents to check if they are complete or not.
When visiting the Embassy or PaRC: Submit your required documents when your queue number is called. Wait for the processor to go through your documents. Once he has approved, move to the next step.

5.Visit Encoding Area

6.Get The New Philippine Passport
You may receive your renewed password from four to eight weeks after completing the renewal procedure. You can go to the official websites of the Consulate and Embassy to check whether your passport is ready or not. They update the list of available passports every day.
Applicants who apply through PaRC will get an email when their passports are ready to be claimed. You can also check your application status by entering your last name and reference number on the VFS Global website.

It is recommended to request Philippine passport renewal eight to ten months before its expiration date so that you can avoid inconvenience in the future.
