Abu Dhabi: Ramadan 2023 expected to begin is more likely to commence on March 23, Thursday in some Arab nations, according to some astronomical estimates.
The International Astronomical Centre said the crescent of Ramadan will be visible on Wednesday, March 22, and consequently, Wednesday, the 23rd day of Ramadan will be the day that marks the beginning of Ramadan 2023 in a few Arab countries.
A prior report from the Emirates Astronomical Society said that Ramadan could start on March 23. The date when Eid-ul-Fitr begins is on April 21, which falls on an evening on a Friday.

“This year Ramadan has started on Thursday March 23, and will continue for 29 consecutive days. Eid Al Fitr will fall on the 21st of April, on a Friday,” Ibrahim Al Jarwan the chairman of the society said.
In India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan where there isn’t a crescent moon, Ramadan 2023 expected to start on the 24th of March, which is a Friday. Ramadan is not a part of these countries.
