A romantic getaway in Dubai with a rented car is an opportunity to enjoy the beauty and diversity of this amazing city in privacy and comfort, traveling in your own vehicle. Luxury car rental in Dubai provides many advantages for a couple in love.
Firstly, such a vacation gives complete freedom of movement. You can spontaneously stop at picturesque places to take selfies against the backdrop of spectacular landscapes, admire the sunset on the beach or have breakfast at a cozy cafe on the way to the next attraction. When traveling in your own transport, you have the opportunity to stop at any moment to admire the panoramic views of the city, take romantic photos or simply park on the side of the road for leisurely kisses and hugs. This is incomparable to the view from a tour bus window.
Secondly, car rental eliminates the need to use public transport in the presence of strangers. This allows you to feel comfortable and relaxed without being distracted by other people. You can listen to your favorite romantic music, sing at the top of your lungs backing each other up. Such an atmosphere and mutual understanding brings people closer together and gives a lot of bright emotions.
Choosing a car:
In our opinion, a convertible is ideal for romantic trips, the open view of which will create a feeling of flight and unity with the surrounding beauty. Here are some of the few models that will provide unforgettable impressions of the trip:
The luxurious Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider sports convertible is great for a romantic getaway. This 720-hp supercar accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and opens up the sensation of real flight at a speed of 340 km/h. The airy, sleek red design, open view, comfortable leather seats, and a multimedia touchscreen complement the luxurious experience of the ride.
Another luxury “swallow” will be the Bentley Continental Convertible cabriolet. An elegant British car with a powerful 635-hp 12-cylinder engine, excellent handling and luxurious interior design with natural leather and wood trim. The maximum speed is 320 km/h.
Thrill-seekers will enjoy the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder. The fighter jet styling, 640-hp 10-cylinder engine, and acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds provide a powerful adrenaline rush. And the convenient retractable hardtop provides sun protection during the hot hours.
The Ferrari Portofino is another option for an Italian dream car with a 600-hp engine, red leather interior, and the ability to lower or raise the rigid top in just 14 seconds while driving.
The Porsche 911 Targa is an excellent choice for a German sports car with elegant styling, a 3-liter 450-hp engine, the brand’s legendary chassis precision, and a convenient automatic roof.
And a budget but no less attractive option would be the Mini Cooper S Convertible. A compact 192-hp car with a cheerful character, excellent maneuverability and the ability to choose a bright turquoise body color.
Planning a route:
You should definitely visit the famous Burj Al Arab hotel, 321 meters high. Its futuristic sail-shaped design and location on its own artificial island make an indelible impression. The entry fee to the hotel grounds for visitors is 100 dirhams per person.
You can take beautiful photos against the backdrop of the hotel, and then go up to one of its 7-star restaurants. For example, Al Mahara offers exquisite cuisine and a unique interior – the dining room is designed as an underwater tunnel surrounded by a giant aquarium with exotic marine inhabitants like rays, sharks and turtles. The average bill is 1,500 dirhams per person.
Then head over to Atlantis Island, home to the Atlantis entertainment resort with the Aquaventure water park, dolphinarium, and other attractions. A grounds ticket costs 275 dirhams. After the thrilling water slides and rides, you can enjoy a romantic dinner at the Nasimi Beach restaurant overlooking the Persian Gulf. The average bill is 500 dirhams per person. And closer to the evening, the grandiose Atlantis fountain show lights up the hotel in bright colors.
Another place for a romantic dinner is the At.Mosphere restaurant on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa. Exquisite food, great service, and the breathtaking bird’s-eye view will forever remain in your memory and evoke incredible emotions. Prices start from 300 dirhams per dish.
You can end the evening with a boat ride along Dubai Creek showcasing the skyscrapers illuminated with bright lights. And upon arriving at your hotel, don’t forget to order fruit and champagne to your room – for an even more romantic continuation of the evening.
Parking in Dubai
In Dubai’s financial center, most parking lots are located in malls and hotels. For example, Dubai Mall has a 14,000-space parking lot costing 5 dirhams per hour on the ground floors and 20 dirhams per hour on the underground levels. Parking in Burj Khalifa is more expensive – 20 and 40 dirhams per hour on the ground and underground levels, respectively.
On-street parking is often prohibited by markings and signs. Paid parking zones at 10 dirhams per hour are common in central Dubai. Payment is made via mobile app, SMS or terminals.
Alcohol consumption
Public drunkenness is completely prohibited in the UAE and punishable by 3-6 months in prison. Alcohol can only be consumed in licensed bars, restaurants or hotel rooms. Supermarkets sell non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine.
Traffic rules
The maximum speed on Dubai’s city roads and residential areas is 60 km/h, on highways it’s 100-140 km/h. Exceeding the speed limit by over 60 km/h may result in license revocation. Speed cameras are placed not only on highways, but also in populated areas.
Conclusion
In summary, car rental unlocks plenty of possibilities for an unforgettable romantic getaway in Dubai to suit every taste and budget. Complete freedom of movement, intimacy, the ability to make spontaneous stops in picturesque corners – all combined with lavish views and extensive infrastructure makes such a vacation truly magical. Using the recommendations on choosing and renting a car, each couple will be able to spend an unforgettable romantic holiday in this amazing city.
