DUBAI, October 19, 2026: A new wave of automotive brands is broadening vehicle choice in Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Egypt, with Chinese manufacturers taking a prominent role in the expansion.
Regional automotive platform YallaMotor highlighted recent market entries in October, including Denza, Deepal, Li Auto and iCAUR. These names represent different positions within the electric, plug-in hybrid and broader passenger-vehicle market.
Competition moves beyond price
New entrants compete through vehicle technology, interior features, powertrain choice and dealer support. However, a regional brand launch does not necessarily mean that every model is sold in every GCC country.
What buyers should compare
Customers should confirm which models are officially available in their country, whether local warranty and parts support are provided, and how battery servicing or charging is handled where applicable.
