People, even in modern, civilised cities, remain inherently connected to nature. Time and time again, countless studies have shown how spending time in green spaces can reduce a person’s stress levels, enhance focus, lower blood pressure and improve their overall well-being.
However, as global urbanisation takes hold, concrete and steel are slowly phasing out nature to make way for more imposing, albeit necessary, high-story buildings and long highways.
Amid this urban sprawl, one landscaping company has made it their mission to walk the tightrope of balancing modern development with environmental conservation to fulfil the deep need for humans to reconnect with nature while simultaneously contributing to the greening of cities — Planters.

Planters’ Services
Planters offers an extensive range of live and artificial plant solutions for interior and exterior landscapes, including:
1. Landscape and Plant Maintenance
In performing landscape maintenance, Planters adopts a six-step process to preserve the aesthetic appeal and longevity of your green space. This involves:
- Conducting a site survey to assess the state of your landscape, such as soil conditions, water availability, plant health and more.
- Writing a condition report to document the findings of the site survey and highlight the most pressing issues.
- Creating a customised action plan for initial implementation and regular maintenance, outlining every service that needs to be completed and in what timeframe.
- Obtaining your approval and authorization to begin work.
- Replacing perished or damaged plants and foliage with ones of similar size and shape to maintain the overall look of your landscape. Additionally, they begin pest control measures to get ahead of any potential infestations.
- Performing ongoing maintenance through scheduled checks and visits to ensure your landscape looks its best all year round.
It’s usually no small feat to synchronise frequent maintenance tasks like mowing, weeding, trimming, edging and cleaning up with other services like pest management, fertilisation, and irrigation, but Planters’ experienced technicians make it seem effortless.
Because they receive continuous training in environment management and plant maintenance as well as effective client communication, you can trust that they will always work with intentionality and deliver results that surpass your expectations.
2. Landscape Design and Installation
In the landscape design and installation arena, Planters’ ingenious work in corporate offices, hotels, retail stores, government buildings and residential properties garnered several awards from reputable organisations like the British Association of Landscape Industries.
Their expertise in developing and executing innovative landscape concepts stems from their ability to grasp their clients’ vision and combine it with their design skills, artificial and preserved plant product range and green wall technology to transform spaces into living, breathing works of art.
As a Planters client, you’ll have complete visibility into the entire design and build cycle — from the initial concept meeting to the landscape installation.
3. Plant Containers
Locally made, Planters’ containers come in different colours and paint finishes, as well as a wide selection of shapes, sizes and materials to match your style and add an element of sophistication to any space.
On the materials front, they’re mainly made from glass fibre-reinforced plastic, which makes them cost-effective, light and strong enough to withstand the elements in outdoor settings.
The landscaping company also offers containers made from steel, glass fibre-reinforced concrete and natural materials if you have a mind for something a little different.
Additionally, Planters’ GRP manufacturing facility produces bespoke liners that waterproof custom-built containers to preserve the well-being of your live plants and protect your infrastructure.
4. Artificial Plants
For living plants to thrive, they need ample light, specific temperatures and a consistent water supply. Such conditions are rarely available in today’s modern structures; however, the need for greenery remains ever-present.
Here, Planters’ line of artificial plants provides the ideal solution. Their artificial trees, palms, green walls and unique plant installations are crafted to look and feel as close to their live counterparts as possible.
The landscaping company’s design team can also work with you to create bespoke artificial plants tailored to your exact specifications. All you need to do is select your desired plant’s composition, heights, density and canopy width and let the team do the rest.
5. Green Walls
Planters’ green walls meld nature and architecture into one captivating display. Their range includes both living and artificial green walls, each with its particular maintenance requirements.
Live green walls, for example, need regular professional maintenance to ensure they remain fresh and healthy. Artificial green walls, on the other hand, require little upkeep beyond occasional cleaning and dusting. They’re perfect for areas with low light or restricted access for maintenance, and their UV-protected range means they can also be used in outdoor settings.
6. Moss Walls and Art
Moss is often praised for its exquisite visual appeal and pleasing tactile experience. But did you know that in interior environments, it can also regulate humidity and absorb sounds? What’s more, moss’s flexibility as a green product means it lends itself to endless creative expressions such as images, patterns, logos and designs.
For all these reasons, moss is a staple of Planters’ product range. They sustainably source premium-quality moss from Europe in various colours and types to create anything from a clean, sharp and contemporary green solution to a woodland, natural or rugged environment.
It’s a truly versatile product that works in any space and on the maintenance scale; it’s conveniently low.
