To be honest, as per our experience; it’s like there’ll be another open amnesty in 2020 and it’s due to government policy to wash the country from all illegal residents before expo by allowing them to rectify their status either by exiting the country or by getting legal permits to live and work freely.

Amnesty Dubai 2020:
If we talk about amnesty in Dubai, the viral news and rumors can be true because Dubai to start a new service for illegal residents in the year 2020 which is also similar to an amnesty program named “Boarding ticket for illegal residents”.

With the coordination of DUBZ Company, GDRFA Dubai is going to launch the world’s first service of its kind, an affiliate of DNATA involving easing procedures for illegal residents to leave UAE to their home countries.

As per the Directorate’s Director-General, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri the service “boarding ticket for illegal residents” will be launched in early 2020 and is intended to expedite the departure (exit) of all illegal expatriates.

Maj Gen Al Marri further says that new service will allow illegal immigrants to board from UAE with no obstacles, so “no one will miss the flight”.

Who can apply for UAE Amnesty 2020?
If the government of UAE announced another amnesty scheme for the year of 2020, the following residents can avail it:

  1. Violators and illegal residents
  2. Job seekers who overstay
  3. People who entered the UAE illegally
  4. Widows and divorced women
  5. People suffering wars and disasters in their home countries

Amnesty is always open:
Till this point, we were discussing the rumors so if you still wanted to wait for the open amnesty scheme alike last one which allows illegal resident different options to choose then it is OK, otherwise, if you have an emergency in the home country or you wanted to exit as soon as possible then amnesty doors are always open for you.

As per UAE consistent policy, amnesty is usually available to anyone acknowledging their errors, to try to to therefore the ex-pat got to surrender to immigration by visiting the respective GDRFA office and ask for help by submitting an application to waive off the overstay-fine and to get the exit pass also known as exit permit.
