By GulfInside | Updated October 21, 2026. Ramadan 1448 AH is expected to begin in the United Arab Emirates around Monday, February 8, 2027. The exact first and last fasting days will depend on the UAE’s official moon-sighting announcements. The month may last 29 or 30 days, and Eid Al Fitr is tentatively expected around March 9 or 10, 2027.
Calculated planning estimates, not an official UAE timetable: The tables below give daily Sehri-ending (Fajr) and Iftar (Maghrib) estimates for the main cities of all seven emirates and Al Ain. They use AlAdhan’s method 16, labelled “Dubai (experimental)”, at the city-centre coordinates listed below. We have not verified these figures against an official 2027 UAE Ramadan calendar. Check Awqaf prayer times, Dubai IACAD and your local mosque before relying on a time for fasting or prayer.
How to read this calendar
- Time zone: UAE local time, UTC+4. Fajr is shown in AM; Maghrib in PM.
- Sehri ends: the calculated start of Fajr, not a separate earlier precautionary Imsak time.
- Iftar: the calculated Maghrib time for that city.
- Dates: February 8 to March 9 is a provisional 30-date planning window, not confirmation of 30 fasting days. March 9 is marked with an asterisk because it is only a possible 30th fasting day if Ramadan starts February 8 and lasts 30 days. If Eid is announced, do not treat that date as a fasting day. If Ramadan begins on another date, follow the official calendar and the actual Gregorian date.
- Location: each table applies to the named city centre, not every town, mountain, suburb or district within the emirate.
- Images: each city has a matching downloadable timetable image inside its expandable section. The same provisional notice is printed on the image.
For the date forecast and how it becomes official, read our Ramadan 2027 start-date and moon-sighting explainer.

When does Sehri end and Iftar begin?
Sehri, also called suhoor, is the pre-dawn meal and must be completed before the beginning of Fajr. Iftar begins at Maghrib. Some calendars publish a separate precautionary Imsak time before Fajr; that earlier figure is not the Fajr time used in these tables. Follow local religious guidance and the official timetable for your location.
For related reading, see our Ramadan duas and Iftar dua guide. If you are organizing leave or family travel, consult the UAE public holidays 2027 guide and check the final government announcement before booking.
Calculation method and official verification
GulfInside retrieved daily Fajr and Maghrib values from the AlAdhan Prayer Times API for February and March 2027, using method 16 (“Dubai (experimental)”), the coordinates shown for each city and the Asia/Dubai time zone. The API uses Fajr and Isha angles of 18.2 degrees and a three-minute Maghrib offset. These are third-party calculations, not an Awqaf or IACAD publication. See AlAdhan’s explanation of calculation methods.
The HTML tables and the eight timetable images were created from the same dataset. We have not applied a blanket minute adjustment between cities. Local coordinates, terrain, adopted methods and official adjustments can produce differences. This edition is for advance planning and must be checked against the eventual official 1448 AH schedules.
Frequently asked questions
Is February 8 confirmed as the first day of Ramadan?
No. It is the expected date used for this planning window. The UAE moon-sighting announcement determines the official start.
Are these official fasting times?
No. These are calculated city-centre estimates. Confirm the daily Fajr and Maghrib times through Awqaf, Dubai IACAD or your local mosque.
Why are there 30 rows if Ramadan could last 29 days?
The calendar includes a possible 30th day for planning. March 9 is conditional, not an instruction to fast on Eid. Follow the official announcement and actual Gregorian date.
Can I use Dubai times in Fujairah or Al Ain?
No. Use the correct city timetable and check the official local schedule.
Can I save the timetable as an image?
Yes. Open the expandable image section under your city, then open and save the full-size PNG. Keep its calculation and provisional-date notices visible.
Where can I check final timings?
Use Awqaf prayer times and Dubai IACAD’s prayer-time service. Select your actual location.
