    Dubai Are you planning a trip to the UAE in the near future? Citizens of more than 73 nations and territories don’t require an advance-arranged visa to travel into the UAE, they can get UAE visa on arrival.

    According to the information released from GDRFA General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai and Emirates-based airlines passengers who have passports issued by any of these countries or territories can be qualified to apply for different types of visas at the time of arrival, from a 14-day tourist visa up to the 180-day UAE visa on arrival.

    30-day visit requirements

    If you’re a holder of a passport from one of the nations or regions, you don’t have to apply in advance to get a UAE visa to travel to the UAE you are eligible to get UAE visa on arrival. According to airlines operating in the UAE, such as Etihad, Emirates, and fly Dubai when you arrive in the UAE, it is necessary to just go into the Immigration department at the airport. Here, the passport is stamped and issued with a 30-day day visitor visa, absolutely for free.

    180-day visit requirements

    If you have a Mexican passport, you’re eligible for a multi-entry 180-day visa for visit, that’s good for 6 months after the issue date and is valid for 180 days.

    14-day visa at the time of the day of arrival

    Indian citizens with a normal passport, and one of the following:

    1. Visit visas granted by the US or
    2. A green Card that is issued by either the US or
    3. A residency visa granted by the UK or
    4. The residence visa that is issued by the EU

    The visa can be obtained upon arrival, for a period of 14 days, provided that the visa or Green Card is valid for at least six months after the date of entry to the UAE.

    What is the cost of a UAE visa on arrival?

    The cost for these visas is Dh144 and can be extended.

    When applying to extend your on-arrival visa is done by going to the immigration counter in the terminal, you may request a visa extension once your extension has come to an expiration date.

    How do you extend a visa at the time of the day of arrival

    “If you’d like to remain for a longer period You can apply for a visa by contacting a travel agent.

    The new visa may be extended for 30 or for 90 days.

    If you don’t fit into one of the categories mentioned above, you may apply for a pre-arranged UAE visit visa through the airline that you travel with as well as through a travel agent or the hotel in which you’ll stay. Visit visas are issued for a period of 30 and 90 days. However, the UAE authorities has confirmed that a new 60-days UAE job seeker visas will be also issued in the near future.
