Dubai Visit Visa Provisions

When applying for a UAE visa to visit, there are many factors to consider. All factors are taken into account, including the nationality, purpose, duration, and length of the visitor.

GCC nationals are eligible for a visa upon their arrival in the UAE. They must have a passport or a national ID. Non-GCC passport holders will need to verify the visa requirements of their respective countries.

Notes:

  • The visa can be obtained by citizens of the listed countries upon their arrival, for a period of 30 days starting at the date of entry.
  • The visa can be extended and would have a total validity of 60 days if it was extended after entry.
  • Passports should not be abnormal and should not be valid for longer than six months
  • This visa is considered multi-entry, meaning that visa holders can consume the 30-day validity of the visa regardless of where they are located. The visa’s 40-day validity would count any number of days that the visa holder is outside of the UAE.

Dubai Visit Visa Requirements

American citizens:

  • The passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the date of expected arrival in the UAE
  • Confirmation of a round-trip airline ticket is required

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizens:

  • To visit the UAE, you don’t need a visa
  • Non-citizen, but high-ranking officials like doctors, managers, engineering, or employees of the public sector, can obtain a 30-day visa at any UAE airport upon their arrival

All nationalities must apply for visas before entering the UAE. They can visit their local UAE sponsor or the embassy or a hotel or travel agency.

Dubai Visit Visa Fees

Residents may sponsor a visit visa to the UAE for their relatives or family members. A minimum monthly income of AED 4000 to AED 5500 is required. Sponsoring relatives might require a minimum monthly income of AED 6000 to AED 7700. A minimum of AED 10,000 salary is required to sponsor friends.

It is advisable to apply for visas less than two months (58 days before your travel date). You can still apply for a visa up to four working days before your travel date.
