DOHA, October 19, 2026: Qatar will host the Gulf Veterans Football Cup from October 30 to November 5, with eight teams competing in 15 matches, according to Qatar News Agency reporting published on October 18.
Opening match and tournament schedule
Qatar is scheduled to face Bahrain in the opening match. The competition brings together veteran football players from Gulf nations, offering supporters an opportunity to see familiar names return to competitive action.
The event is planned to run over seven days. Organisers’ official fixtures and ticket announcements should be consulted for final match times, venues and any scheduling changes.
Regional football ties
Veterans’ tournaments provide a platform for sporting exchange and recognition of former national-team players. The competition also adds to Qatar’s calendar of regional football events.
GulfInside will update the schedule if organisers publish revised fixtures or confirm further participation details.
