In a match of Group C of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Saudi Arabia beat Argentina and set the first upset of the tournament.
Saudi Arabia won by two goals to one in the match played at Lussle Stadium in Doha on Tuesday.
The first goal of the match was scored by Argentina’s Lionel Messi on a penalty kick in the tenth minute of the first half.
In response to this, in the 48th minute, Saudi Arabia’s Saleh Al-Shahri scored the first goal and equalized the score.
Just five minutes later, Salim Al-Dusiri scored Saudi Arabia’s second goal to give the team a lead that lasted until the end of the match.
Saudi player Muhammad Al-Owais has been declared as the man of the match.
The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan has also congratulated the national team on its official Twitter account.

On the other hand, Argentine player Messi said that Qatar FIFA World Cup is the last destination of his journey from where he will fulfil his dream of winning the World Cup.
The Saudi team is a part of Group C along with Argentina, Mexico and Poland.
