Hajj Travel 5 Days Information
- The first day of Hajj (Eighth-day Dhual-Hijjah) – Upon arrival in Mecca the spot where pilgrims arrive on the first day, is Meena Kshetra. Every pilgrim spends their entire day praying. Here, over 15,000 temporary tents have been set up for pilgrims. They are also provided with accommodation. A large tent with a view over the city can be seen from this view. Here, every pilgrim prays morning, afternoon, evening and night. They leave Mina the next day, after the morning prayer, and go to Arafat.
- Second Day of Hajj (Ninth-day Dhual-Hijjah)
- Arfah This is also known as the day of Arfah or the day of Hajj. Pilgrims arrive at Arfah Mountain (also known as the Mount of Mercy) before noon. It is located 20km east of Mecca. It was where pilgrims used to pray for forgiveness for their sins. They spend the entire day listening to the words and phrases of Islam. They continue this until sunset. - The fifth day of Hajj ( Dhaul-Hijjah twelfth Day ) – Seven stones can also be thrown on this day.
- Last day of Hajj – Stones are again thrown prior to going to Mecca.
- Tawaf al – Wada – Pilgrims perform Tawaf al-Wada prior to leaving Makka. Before leaving Mecca, pilgrims should touch and kiss the Kaaba at least once.
The Importance Of Makka Madina In Islam
The Prophet Muhammad declared Makka a pilgrimage destination. This is the fifth pillar of Islam. This city is the cultural, commercial and entertainment capital of Saudi Arabia.
